Bee Rescues

Do a lot of bees live near or on your land? Are you curious about what these bees are doing? The bees just want somewhere to live. Honey bees have to swarm as a normal part of their life cycle. Bees are a very important part of our ecosystem, and they are also important for farming, so we want to keep their numbers up. However, bees that live in roofs or on utility poles aren’t much help to farmers and beekeepers.

Honey & Wax Products

The honey is gently harvested from our beehives to minimise disturbance and leave enough honey for the bees to do their wonderful work of pollination.

Once the honey is harvested, it goes to our Council Certified extracting facility at Aldinga Beach. The honey is cold extracted, strained through 3 gravity filters then packaged as 100% Pure Raw Honey.

There is no heat treatment involved with Salubrious Honey which means that over time, the raw honey will crystallise due to the activity of beneficial natural vitamins, enzymes and phytonutrients. The crystallisation process is normal in raw honey and is still wonderful to eat.
